StepOn3 is a Bay Area–based dance school built with passion, creativity, and love for dance. More than just teaching choreography, we focus on helping children and adults build confidence, express themselves, celebrate culture, and create joyful memories through movement.
We offer fun and engaging dance classes for ages 2.5 years and above across Fremont from Hip-Hop, K-Pop, Bollywood, Jazz & Contemporary to vibrant Punjabi folk dance forms like Giddha & Bhangra, our classes celebrate culture, diversity, community, and self-expression in a welcoming environment for everyone.

imprint: a QTBIPOC dance writing fellowship
“imprint” is an annual dance writing fellowship program designed for US-based, BIPOC and/or queer dance writers. Artistic Director Bhumi B Patel will support three emerging dance writers through writing and publishing mentorship and professional development as a dance writer. Emerging means anyone who is not an experienced dance writer.
Participating writers will:
-attend 12 cohort meetings
-attend 5 dance performances
-receive mentorship to write reviews on each performance attended
-produce at least 3 written dance reviews/reflections for publication on the PDW blog
-be compensated $500 for 40 hours of work/study

200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training for Dancers
Are you a movement professional looking for a yoga teacher training program that takes into account your unique body of knowledge and experience? The Ephemeral Artery 200-hour yoga teacher training program is tailored for dancers, allowing their embodied movement practices to guide their yoga teaching methodology. This program is geared for socially conscious practitioners who seek opportunities to deepen their understanding of the yogic path, embodiment, and teaching as tools for social change.
The hybrid program offers a mix of online instruction and an in-person intensive allowing students to fit the training into their schedules.
Summer Institute
Now in its 24th year, Summer Institute (SI) is a nationally-acclaimed, year-long professional development experience centered on the art of teaching dance to children of all ages. Bringing together teaching artists and education practitioners to activate and inspire individual and collective imaginations, SI includes in-person intensives, Zoom sessions, and individualized coaching.
In-person dates: July 13-17, January 16-17, May 22

Cross-Cultural Dance Exchange in Panama
Join our Open-Exchange this August 2–9, 2026! Connect with a global community of dancers dedicated to service and cross-cultural artistry. This Panama immersion is your opportunity to expand your perspective and contribute to sustainable dance education. We invite dancers of ALL levels to engage in a transformative cycle of teaching, learning, and connection. In this 8-day exchange, you will:
