Calls for Artists

The international training program is a 3-week artistic intensive in Csurgó, Hungary, bringing together a diverse group of creatives from around the world to connect, learn, gain hands-on experience, and collaboratively create a performance presented to the local community.

Designed for dancers, choreographers, actors, directors, physical theatre artists, mimes, vocalists, musicians, and performers from various disciplines, the residency immerses participants in a communal environment that promotes artistic growth and cultural exchange.

Would you like to facilitate a dance workshop at Vivalon? Vivalon is a non-profit organization in San Rafael that provides a wide range of services to adults ages fifty and older. We serve thousands of people every year and have won numerous awards for “Best Non-profit Organization,” “Best Social Organization,” and “Best of Marin.” Our Cowles Active Learning Program is the only one of its kind in Marin County. The program offers workshops and series that are highly participatory, interactive, and immersive. We bring in facilitators who are experts in their fields and innovative in their teaching styles. Facilitators are welcome to request an honorarium for their workshops. We plan to offer a four-week modular series in September and/or October entitled “Dance Around the World.” If you are interested in this opportunity, please contact lrhode@vivalon.org to request an application. Jose Jimenez is an emerging freelance photographer based in Sacramento specializing in creative photography and has a passion for helping people capture their inner creativity in a variety of art forms. He is seeking to work with more creatives, specifically dancers.

A free collaborative photo session. He is available to travel across the Bay Area.
