Join Movement Exchange for a rejuvenating retreat to Bocas Del Toro this August! Spend five days in paradise with yoga, movement, workshops, and fun excursions like surfing and snorkeling. After reconnecting with your body and spirit, we’ll head to Panama City for salsa dancing, exploring Casco Viejo, and attending our Annual Show with the youth from our dance foundation. Led by alum Isabel Owens, this retreat offers a space to heal and renew your sense of self in a supportive, like-minded community.
Calls for Volunteers
Photography Volunteer
Develop your photography portfolio while documenting breathtaking performing arts in one of San Francisco’s most beautiful outdoor spaces. Photos will be used with credit on YBG Festival’s website and social media accounts, and may also be used for press or included in graphic designs for web or print. Receive insider access to world-class artists in music, dance, theater, circus and more, and build an impressive body of work while assisting a passionate non-profit organization in telling visual stories of impact.
Photographers must use their own camera and editing software.

Seeking Dance Events
The Hillside Club is a beautiful space with a sprung wood floor, stage and sound equipment. We used to have a someone who booked dance events – concerts, workshops, etc – in the space, and we miss that activity. The venue is available to rent for dance events, but we would also love to have someone in the position of booking dance events into the space. This is a volunteer position – perfect for anyone who wants to present dance, see more dance presented, or make use of this wonderful venue.
We are primarily interested in social dances such as folk dances, square dances, and partner dances, and human-made music, as opposed to techno or industrial sounds.
